A stable Australian owned International Freight Forwarder with 30+ years in the market is seeking a seasoned Cartage Specialist to service Import LCL/FCL/Airfreight customers. Located in SYD HO @ Taren Point.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

- Handle FCL / LCL / Airfreight cartage via external couriers / transport carriers.
- Navigate Cargowise1 Workflows - Tasks / Milestones/ Edocs.
- Navigate ICS, ensure cargo is customs cleared.
- Liaise with customer re any authority holds / fumigation requirements etc.
- Input costs, sell rates and generate final invoices in Cargowise1.
- Manage customer accounts and build client relationships.
- Ensure Customer satisfaction through effective and productive responses to customer enquiries, issues, and concerns as well as develop new opportunities in different trade lanes, services.
- Ensure all customer details are maintained and kept up to date.

ABOUT YOU:





- 2+ years cartage experience with a Freight Forwarder in Australia.
- 1+ years experience with Cargowise1 - including understanding of workflow (tasks /milestones) and Edocs.
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Adaptable
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Relationship building skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
