About the Role

Oli’s is looking for bubbly people: friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Café All-Rounders to assist with the day-to-day operation of the café.

This is a wide-ranging role involving coffee and beverage preparation, taking customer orders and payments, delivering coffees and food to nearby offices, and helping keep the café clean, organised and running efficiently.

Team members will work across different areas of Oli’s depending on what is required during each shift.

Key Responsibilities

Coffee & Beverage Preparation

- Prepare and serve coffees and other beverages.
- Operate the coffee machine, grinder and associated equipment.
- Maintain consistent quality and presentation of beverages.
- Keep the coffee preparation area clean and organised.

Customer Service & Orders

- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Take customer orders accurately.
- Process cash and electronic payments through the point-of-sale system.
- Serve and hand over completed orders.
- Answer basic customer questions about menu items.

Office Coffee & Food Runs

- Deliver coffees,



food and other orders to nearby offices and customers.
- Check orders for accuracy before leaving the café.
- Deliver orders promptly and professionally.

Cleaning & Café Maintenance

- Clean coffee machines, grinders and other café appliances.
- Wash dishes, utensils and equipment.
- Clean benches and food preparation areas.
- Keep customer and service areas clean and tidy.
- Dispose of rubbish appropriately.
- Restock cups, packaging, ingredients and other supplies.
- Assist with opening and closing cleaning procedures.

General All-Rounder Duties

- Assist other team members during busy periods.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures.
- Help maintain a clean, welcoming and efficient environment at Oli’s.
- Perform other reasonable duties within the employee’s skills, competence and training.

Pay: $24.34 – $31.29 per hour Expected hours: No more than 38.0 per week
