You’ll be part of a dedicated team delivering great outcomes for our community across the beautiful Recent England region. ? About the Position
This role supports the delivery of individual and group activities for children aged 5–12 years in OOSH programs, ensuring safe, engaging and developmentally appropriate experiences.
You will
· Assist the Educator Supervisor to implement and evaluate programs aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS).
· Support curriculum‑based programs using the My Time Our Place Framework, including documenting children’s learning.
· Engage in ongoing child protection training and professional development.
· Prioritise child safety, wellbeing and culturally safe practices.
· Build positive relationships with children and families, contributing to an inclusive and welcoming environment.
· Understand and follow mandatory reporting requirements, including the Mandatory Reporter Guide (MRG), Child Protection Helpline and ChildStory eReport system.
· Assist with activities across the Children and Family Services Section, including DCJ‑funded Playgroups when required.
· Work collaboratively to ensure safe, high‑quality service delivery aligned with Council policies, procedures and NSW Child Safe Standards.
? Who We’re Looking For
You will have:
· Minimum Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC30121)
· Minimum age of 18 years (licensing requirement)
· Ability to obtain a Criminal Record Check, Police Check and NSW Working With Children Check
· Current Class C Driver Licence
