Receptionist – Bayford Ford

Love people, enjoy a fast-paced environment and know how to make a great first impression? We want to hear from you! Bayford Ford is looking for a friendly, organized and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team.

You’ll be one of the first voices our customers hear and one of the people who helps keep our dealership running smoothly behind the scenes. From answering calls and helping customers find the right person, to supporting our Sales and Service teams with day-to-day administration, no two days are quite the same.

You’ll be joining a great team who enjoy what they do, support each other and are passionate about delivering an exceptional experience for our customers.

What will you be doing?

Your day-to-day will include:

- Being the friendly and professional first point of contact for customers calling the dealership.
- Answering and directing incoming calls quickly and efficiently.
- Taking detailed messages and making sure they get to the right person or department.
- Using our dealership systems to provide administrative support to our Sales and Service teams.
- Assisting with general dealership administration and helping the team wherever needed.
- Scanning and managing documents.
- Ordering office supplies and keeping an eye on stock levels.
- Coordinating the ordering of company uniforms.
- Helping us keep things organized, professional and running smoothly.

The hours

This is a two-day-per-week role:
- Friday: 7:30am – 5:30pm
- Saturday: 8:00am – 5:00pm

There may also be opportunities to pick up additional shifts from time to time, so some flexibility would be a bonus.

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone who is naturally friendly, helpful and comfortable dealing with all kinds of people. You don’t necessarily need to come from the automotive industry. If you have great customer service skills, a positive attitude and can pick up new systems quickly, we’d love to hear from you.

Ideally, you will have:

- Previous reception,



administration or customer service experience.
- Excellent communication skills and a great phone manner.
- A friendly, approachable personality and a genuine willingness to help.
- Good computer skills and the confidence to learn new systems.
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently while also being part of a busy team.
- Availability to work the allocated Friday and Saturday hours.
- Flexibility to cover additional shifts when available.
- A current driver's license.
