3-month initial contract | Sydney location | Hybrid working THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an MSP Transition Change Lead to support the transition of IT services to a new Managed Service Provider (MSP).

This is a hands-on change role within an active service transition, and you will be working closely with the internal transition team, the incoming MSP, existing service providers, technology teams and business stakeholders to ensure the organisation is ready for the new service arrangements. You will take ownership of the change management activities associated with the MSP transition, building on work already underway.

We are looking for someone with an understanding of IT service management and outsourced service environments, who can work through the practical implications of changes to processes, responsibilities, service interfaces and ways of working.

You should have previous experience supporting an MSP transition, outsourcing implementation or significant IT service transition.

Essential experience

- Demonstrated experience leading organisational change within complex technology environments.
- Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and operational service management processes.
- Experience working across multi-vendor environments involving internal technology teams, MSPs, technology suppliers and business stakeholders.




- Ability to understand future-state service processes and translate technical and operational changes into clear impacts for affected teams.
- Robust stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, including the ability to work with senior leaders, technical teams, operational teams and external providers.
- Experience developing and executing stakeholder engagement, change, communications and readiness plans.
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to turn complex transition issues into clear and practical communications.
- Experience undertaking detailed change impact assessments across people, process, technology and ways of working.
- Experience identifying training, knowledge transfer and organisational readiness requirements.
- Ability to work independently, establish priorities quickly and deliver within a time-critical transition.
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar enterprise ITSM platforms is highly desirable.

This is a contract opportunity for an initial 3-month period, with the potential for further extensions, based in Sydney CBD with flexible hybrid working.
