The Position:
- Mainly daytime shifts with nighttime functions
- Assist Sous Chefs in running daily kitchen operations across assigned outlets.
- Step in to lead the kitchen or cover for the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs when needed.
- Supervise section prep and food service to maintain high quality standards.
- Ensure consistent food presentation and precise portion control for every dish.
- Help plan and execute menus, including daily café specials and catering orders.
The Person:
- Minimum of 4 to 5 years of professional culinary experience.
- Proven background working in function and catering environments.
- Deep understanding of food safety standards, including temperature danger zones, allergens, labeling, and storage protocols.
- Ability to work alone and unsupervised while still following overall direction.
- Excellent leadership, team building, communication skills, and ability to work under pressure.
