The role is for a 'Qualified Chef'.

We are currently on the lookout for an individual who believes that Hospitality is the career for them. We are looking for a full-time candidate, over 4.5 to 5 days per week.

We have a restaurant downstairs with a function room upstairs.

Our Menu is quite extensive, yet simple and classic.

Full …

- Assisting with Re - Designing and updating of menus including seasonal menus. Updating our regular menu every 6 months;
- Running the kitchen as it is your own;
- Overseeing delivery of stock of food and equipment supplies and doing purchases for orders;
- Ensuring freshness and quality in the ingredients and preparation of meals;
- Demonstrating recent cooking techniques and equipment to staff;
- Prepare and cook foods for dining and function service;
- Implementing and enforcing hygiene regulations and examining equipment for cleanliness;
- Food stocktaking procedures and waste management;
- Day to day temperature checks;
- Provide and record a program of basic training for all new members of staff and communicate performance and development issues on a regular basis;
- Manage and train the team within the kitchen during service and outside of service.

- Able and willing to work a set roster including weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shifts.
