Townsville Brewery has an opening available for a versatile Chef to support our growing kitchen.

The successful candidate will be working in a busy kitchen, preparing food for service in bistro, fine dining, and function settings. You will work alongside a young, international team to produce food to the highest standards.

An immediate start is available for the right candidate, with sponsorship available for non-residents looking to make Australia their recent home.

Reporting to the Head Chef, you must be prepared to lead by example, demonstrating patience and understanding while teaching your fellow team members and providing direction as needed.

Alongside cooking, your regular duties will include:

- Maintaining food cost controls




- Minimising food wastage
- Maintaining wage costs
- Supporting the Head Chef as needed

The successful candidate will also have opportunities to work at the group's other venues on Magnetic Island and elsewhere.

Work Days:
- 7 day roster

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Townsville City QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Work Authorisation:
- Australia (Preferred)

Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
