About SMART V

SMART V Education and Placement Firm Pty Ltd is an established education and migration services business with four offices across Australia — two in Perth, one in Brisbane and one in Canberra. We provide education counselling, student admissions and placement services and work with a broad network of Australian universities, colleges and education providers. Our migration services include immigration assistance provided through a Registered Migration Agent.

We are seeking an experienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our Australian operations and drive the continued growth of the business.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Directors, the CEO will be the most senior executive responsible for the overall strategic direction, performance and management of SMART V's Australian operations.

Key responsibilities include:

- Lead the strategy, growth and overall operations of the business.
- Oversee the performance of all four Australian offices.
- Oversee budgets, financial performance, forecasts and allocation of resources, and report on business performance to the Directors.
- Lead and manage senior staff and office managers, including involvement in the selection and development of senior personnel.
- Identify and develop new markets, services and business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with universities, colleges and other business partners.
- Provide executive oversight of the company's education and migration service operations.
- Maintain effective business policies, operational standards, compliance and risk management.
- Monitor organisational performance and implement business improvements.




- Represent SMART V in key business meetings, negotiations and industry engagements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior executive or management role within an education or migration consultancy, international education, student recruitment or closely related sector.
- Proven track record in business growth, strategic planning and operational management.
- Solid knowledge of the international education and/or migration services sector.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing professional teams.
- Experience building relationships with universities, colleges and other strategic partners.
- Strong financial and commercial management skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and decision-making skills.
- Experience managing multiple offices or geographically dispersed teams will be highly regarded.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in business, management, education or a related field.
