Our client is a rapidly growing Australian roofing business with a solid reputation across Brisbane. They're expanding their team and looking for an experienced Roofer to join their domestic and commercial operations on a permanent basis. You'll report to the Business Manager, work alongside a skilled team of technicians, and have the opportunity to progress your career with a business that values reliability, communication, and getting the job done well. The role offers $50 to $60 per hour plus superannuation, a vehicle and fuel card, depending on your experience.

- Lead and support a team of four or more roofers, running jobs and setting the standard through hands‐on example
n
- Install metal roofing panels and fabricate custom roof and guttering pieces in the workshop
n
- Work in a relaxed,



collaborative environment where the team genuinely supports each other and has a good time doing it

Preferred Requirements

n

n
- Proven experience in metal roofing—this is essential for the role
n
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coach and supervise a team effectively
n
- Competence operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and power tools (electric and air-powered) in line with safety procedures
n
- Valid Australian driver's licence and the ability to work autonomously as well as take direction
n
- Hands‐on experience measuring, cutting, and fitting materials around vents, gutters, chimneys, and walls
n

Preferred Qualifications

n

n
- Trade qualification or formal apprenticeship in roofing or a related construction trade
n
- Current First Aid certification and knowledge of workplace health and safety standards
n
- Experience in both domestic and commercial roofing projects
