The Role
In collaboration with the Principal and administrative team, the Deputy Principal provides educational leadership by promoting the school’s vision, values and priorities and fostering a positive, inclusive school culture.
The successful applicant will ideally build strong, respectful relationships with staff, students, families and the wider community, with a commitment to achieving positive student outcomes. They should have experience leading teacher quality, using evidence-based planning to drive improvement and managing complex situations both independently and collaboratively.
The successful applicant will ideally be a motivated, reflective and enthusiastic leader with strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, as well as knowledge of curriculum, student wellbeing and school operations. The ability to lead change, promote collegiality and maintain high expectations will be highly regarded.
As Deputy Principal,
you will contribute to the School Plan, support workforce effectiveness and lead continuous improvement through effective decision-making, change management and operational systems. Experience in policy development, compliance and administrative processes will be desirable.

Eligibility
To work with us, you must:
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
- hold registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia
- obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start; and
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
