Nova Legal is a specialist corporate law practice based in West Perth. Our Corporate & Commercial team is currently comprised of seven lawyers, led by two Directors, two Senior Associates, an Associate and two solicitors.

We advise ASX-listed companies, private clients and institutional investors across corporate transactions, equity capital markets and the resources and technology sectors - delivering commercially focused advice on matters that genuinely move the needle for our clients.

The Role

n

Nova Legal is seeking a lawyer with approximately 1-4 years' PQE to join our Corporate & Commercial team.

n

You will be welcomed into our close-knit team and have the opportunity to work directly with our directors and senior lawyers on a variety of corporate and commercial transactions, including:

n

- Equity capital markets, including IPOs, RTOs and general capital raisings
n
- Mergers and acquisitions
n
- Private equity transactions
n
- Corporate governance
n
- General commercial transactions
n

n





This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer looking to develop their corporate and commercial experience in a specialist practice, with exposure to interesting and varied matters and the opportunity to take increasing responsibility.

About You

n

The ideal candidate will have:

n

n
- An Australian law degree and admission as an Australian lawyer
n
- 1-4 years' post-admission experience
n
- Experience in corporate and/or commercial law
n
- Strong drafting, research and analytical skills
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- A willingness to learn and take ownership of matters
n
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
n
- A collaborative approach and genuine interest in being part of a close-knit team
n
