Civil Pipe Layers, Inground Services & Leading Hands

Protech Darwin is currently seeking experienced Civil Pipe Layers, Inground Services Workers, Plumbers and Leading Hands for upcoming and ongoing work across major Civil Infrastructure projects throughout Darwin and the Northern Territory.

We are partnering with leading Civil Contractors delivering large scale infrastructure and subdivision projects and are looking to connect with experienced personnel for both current and future opportunities.

Your Role

- Installation of RCP, stormwater and sewer pipelines
- Pipe laying and inground services works
- Setting up and operating pipe lasers
- Setting up and using spinning grade lasers
- Shooting relative levels with a dumpy level
- Reading stormwater long sections and General Arrangement drawings
- Trenching, bedding, backfilling and drainage installation
- Working safely around plant and heavy equipment
- Maintaining high quality and safety standards on site

What We're Looking For

- Proven pipelaying experience
- Strong safety background and commitment to safe work practices
- Fit, reliable and hard working with a solid work ethic
- Dogman Ticket highly regarded
- Leading Hand or supervisory experience highly regarded

What We Offer





- $40- $55 per hour + penalties depending on experience
- $25 daily travel, $19 meals
- Ongoing and long term project opportunities

Requirements

- Construction White Card
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
- Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol Screen
- Ability to pass a Police Check if required
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
