The Opportunity You’ll take ownership of your own portfolio while leading and developing a team of approximately five accountants.

You’ll work closely with Partners and Directors, providing high-level advisory support and helping drive the continued growth of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and develop your own client portfolio
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of accountants
- Review and finalise complex financial statements and tax returns
- Provide taxation and business advisory services
- Advise across FBT, Division 7A, CGT, GST and related matters
- Deliver tax planning, forecasting and restructuring advice




- Review team work and provide technical guidance
- Manage WIP, KPIs, productivity, budgets and deadlines
- Build strong client relationships
- Work closely with Partners and Directors on client strategy
- Identify opportunities to add value and grow the practice

Ideal Requirements: You’re an experienced public practice professional who combines strong technical expertise with commercial thinking and leadership capability.

Ideally, you’ll have:

- Manager experience in public practice
- CA or CPA qualification
- Strong accounting and taxation knowledge
- Proven client management experience
- Team leadership and mentoring experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and commercially focused approach
- A genuine ambition to progress your career
