The Clinical Nurse (CN) at the Ellen Barron Family Centre, delivers safe and compassionate clinical care. The CN provides advanced clinical and problem-solving skills, expert planning and coordination skills in the clinical management of families with complex care needs, ensuring quality standards are met. This role works autonomously within the Healthcare Team structure and is pivotal in the planning, managing and delivering of specialist nursing care.
This role is pivotal in the planning, managing, and delivering safe, quality and clinically effective child and family health nursing care in a tertiary level community health settling. The CN provides clinical leadership for professional and clinical practice, education and research.
About The Team The Ellen Barron Family Centre (EBFC) is a state-wide residential facility that provides services for early parenting support through its parenting education programs. The programs provide services for families with children from birth to 3 years who are referred to the EBFC from primary care service providers or other relevant agencies. The centre is a multidisciplinary environment that specialises in providing relevant health information and education, and the development of strategies and support aimed at addressing immediate concerns and then linking families back into local resources within their own community.
About The Role In this role you will coach and support others to deliver for children, young people and families (Leader of Others)
in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values .
You'll fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health) Award - State 2015 - Generic Level Statements (GLS) Nurse Grade 6 Band 1 and the Queensland Health and Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CHQHHS) commitments and values, in achievement of the organisational goals and Domains of Practice.
