*The Role An opportunity has become available for a Clinical Nurse Consultant (Mental Health - Crisis Stabilisation Unit) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

Deliver high level clinical services in accordance with professional code of ethics

Provide efficient and responsive mental health assessment and management within the Crisis Stabilisation Unit

Deliver a high level of assessment, treatment planning and case management for high risk patients

Provide high level expertise of comprehensive and flexible mental health service

About you To be successful in this position you will require:

A Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent

Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia A Masters or higher qualification within a relevant area is highly desirable

Driver Licence

Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B

Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required

Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed

Criminal History Screening will be required for recent employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary

Permanent part time (64 hrs per fortnight)





Base salary ranging from $70.92- $77.00 per hour

About Us The Mental Health Crisis Stabilisation Unit provides consumers presenting with a mental health crisis/illness a safe, supportive environment for acute mental health assessment, treatment, and management, including a range of short-term options tailored to meet individual needs.
