About You

Are you a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Clinical Psychology Registrar or Mental Health Social Worker looking for an engaging and supportive practice? Do you want to focus your work on helping adults, particularly those dealing with eating disorders, while developing your skills in long-term and indepth therapy models in a nurturing workplace? About the Role

We are seeking expressions of interest for a clinician to provide services a minimum of 2 days week face to face, under a service agreement model. Based on demand within our service we are seeking clinicians to work with clients facing challenges related to eating disorders and body image concerns, as well as mood, anxiety and adjustment difficulties. We are looking for someone eager to grow their clinical practice, utilising evidence-based approaches, embodying a client-centered stance and displaying strong reflective practice skills.

If you have a keen interest in therapeutic approaches like CBT-E, Maudsley FBT, or Systemic Family Therapy, or wish to explore broader treatment modalities such as psychotherapy, interpersonal therapy or narrative therapy, we encourage you to apply. There is scope and availability of referrals across other niche areas of interest including perinatal work, drug and alcohol presentations and neurodivergence.

with over 13 years of experience, is located in a purpose renovated, heritage building in Lane Cove, NSW. The Practice is a leading provider of innovative and holistic healthcare services in the Lower North Shore community. The service is committed to supporting clinicians to deliver the highest quality of care to clients. The Practice was founded, and is run by two practising psychologists, with an emphasis on looking after clients and clinicians, and a key value within the service is burn out prevention and career satisfaction.

We offer competitive remuneration under a service agreement model, administrative support, and the autonomy and flexibility to manage your hours, patient load and clinical niche independently.

Essential Criteria

- Eligibility to be a Medicare Provider
- Face-to-face role (some Telehealth, but primarily in-person)
- A strong desire to work within the field of eating disorders (or relevant experience)
- Current AHPRA registration
- ANAZED credentialled clinicians desirable
- Current Professional Indemnity Insurance
- ABN
- Current Police Check
- Current Working with Children Check
- Must have general registration; this position is not open to provisional psychologists. Please apply only if you currently hold full registration status.
