Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing parts in accordance to the detail drawings and specifications.
- Programming, setting and operating CNC Lathes and Mills
- Perform basic maintenance of CNC equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of Machine Centre
- Consistent and timely completion of associated documentation related to the above to the required company standards.
- Offer troubleshooting advice and reliability solutions in conjunction and collaboration with company technical personnel as and when required.
- Work productively and proactively with both internal and external clients.
- Complete periodic reporting requirements to standards required as set in performance goals and objectives.
- Other maintenance and/or associated tasks as requested
Requirements:
- Must currently have full working rights in Australia.
- Fitter and Turner trade qualifications or equivalent
- A minimum of 3 years industry experience post apprenticeship in a high-end manufacturing/machining environment
- CNC programming and operating experience working with exotic materials
- Tool shop or making and/or jobbing shop experience
- Ability to understand, interpret and machine from technical drawings/specifications
- Solid understanding of WH&S; practices.
