We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Community Connections Worker to join our Youth & Families team. About the Role

As the Community Connections Worker, you will:

- Support young people transitioning from care to build strong community connections and achieve positive housing, education and employment outcomes.
- Provide tenancy support, advocacy and practical assistance to help young people secure and maintain safe, stable housing.
- Develop and maintain effective partnerships with community organisations,



service providers and stakeholders to create opportunities for young people.
- Connect young people with education, training, employment, health and wellbeing services that support their goals, independence and long-term success.

This role can involve emotionally demanding situations and exposure to psychological hazards, including client distress, trauma disclosures, and urgent responses. MASP prioritises staff wellbeing by providing supervision, debriefing, reflective practice, safety measures, and access to wellbeing resources. We encourage open communication—raise any concerns with your supervisor, management, or the OHS Committee as soon as possible.

Remuneration

Expected commencing salary of $82,415.00 per annum plus statutory superannuation.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Welfare, Youth Work, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to work with young people experiencing disadvantage and with diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Knowledge of the challenges facing young people leaving care, including barriers to housing, education, employment and community participation.
- Understanding of out-of-home care,



child protection and youth justice systems and legislation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to MASP's values and client-centred approach
