We are seeking an experienced and motivated Compliance Specialist to join our Quality Team. In this role, you will strengthen our regulatory compliance framework, support services to meet and exceed the National Quality Standard and help ensure that every child attending our services is safe, valued and receiving the highest standard of education and care.

Working as a valued member of our Quality team you will work collaboratively with our Operational Leaders and People and Culture.to review, develop, and refine compliance policy and procedural documents that are practical, accessible, and grounded in best practice. Your work will directly contribute to improved outcomes for children, families, and educators across our services.

In addition, you will:

- Support services in relation to Assessment & Rating preparedness.
- Collaborate with operations teams to manage notifications, complaints, incidents and compliance registers.
- Liaise with the Regulatory Authority on behalf of the Approved Provider.
- Conduct audits, analyse data and prepare regulatory-ready reports.
- Support and conduct investigations, corrective actions and continuous improvement.

About You:





- Qualification in Early Childhood as approved by ACECQA (Diploma or higher)
- Experience in auditing, compliance and/or risk assurance
- Demonstrated experience in a Quality and Compliance role within the Early Childhood Education and Care sector.
- Proven ability to write effective policy, process, and compliance documentation that is easy to follow and enhances practice.
- Detail-oriented with strong initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Experience in complaint handling and investigations
- Previous operational leadership experience in Long Day Care (LDC) and/or OSHC, In-Home Care, Family Day Care - you understand how services work, what educators need, and how regulatory requirements translate into day-to-day practice.
- Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework including the Education and Care Services Law (Queensland) and Education and Care National Regulations
- Excellent written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills

Additional requirements:

- Valid Paid/Employee Blue Card
- Valid National Police Check (Within 3 years)
- Position requires some flexibility of hours and travel across Queensland, as required.
