About the role

AnewCare Physio is seeking a Contract Community Physiotherapist to join our growing team across multiple locations throughout Melbourne. This is a contract position offering flexibility and variety as you work within community-based settings across the Melbourne VIC 3000 area. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality physiotherapy services to diverse patient populations within the community, contributing to our mission of improving patient outcomes and enhancing quality of life through evidence-based rehabilitation and treatment.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and evaluations to determine patient needs and establish treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and functional rehabilitation
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to achieve optimal outcomes
- Provide patient education on injury prevention, self-management strategies, and home exercise programmes
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Liaise with referral sources, general practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Contribute to quality assurance processes and participate in clinical supervision and peer review activities
- Assist in the development and delivery of community health initiatives and wellness programmes where applicable
- Adhere to all workplace health and safety standards and infection control protocols

What we're looking for

- Current AHPRA registration.
- Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent recognised qualification
- Demonstrated experience working in community-based physiotherapy settings
- Strong clinical reasoning skills and the ability to apply evidence-based practice principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse patient populations




- Proficiency in electronic health records and clinical documentation systems
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexibility and adaptability to work across multiple locations within Melbourne
- Professional demeanour with a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care
- Experience with specific patient populations such as aged care, musculoskeletal conditions, or neurological rehabilitation would be advantageous
