Key duties & responsibilities

- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair hospital electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, emergency power, and control systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical panels,switch gear, transformers, and circuit breakers.




- Reporting to your line manager with any issues.
- Escorting sub-contractors around the site
- Maintain and test emergency power systems, including generators, UPS units, and automatic transfer switches (ATS).
- Respond promptly to electrical faults that impact critical areas such as operating rooms,ICU, and labs.
- Reactive works on air handling units, fan coil units.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, outages, and repairs.
- Ensure all electrical installations comply with hospital policies, electrical codes, andhealth carefacility regulations.

Requirements:

- Level 3 Electrical InstallationsCity and Guilds 18th Edition
- Previous experience in a hospital, medical facility, or critical-care environment .
- HV or LV knowledge (not essential)
- General Knowledge of electrical systems.
