Couch Potato Restaurant is seeking skilled and dedicated Kitchen Hands and Cooks to join our agile team. As a popular establishment known for our delectable comfort food, we are committed to providing our guests with exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities

- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients
- Working confidently on fryer, grill & pan sections
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment
- Support the kitchen team by ensuring a smooth workflow during service
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards to guarantee the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation
- Collaborate with the chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure timely and productive meal preparation
- Contribute to maintaining inventory levels and alerting the kitchen manager of any shortages or issues
- Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries

Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role in a fast-paced restaurant environment




- Availability to work weekend evenings is essential for this position
- Reliable transportation to and from the restaurant
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the kitchen team
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
