FULL TIME Cook Required

Full time 38 hours per week-$79,500-$89,500 per year plus Super

WAGGA INVESTORS PTY LTD, trading as Commercial Hotel Junee, located in Junee, NSW, 2663 is seeking a qualified and experienced Cook to join our team on a full time basis. Read and interpret drawings, plans and specifications.

· Examine food and ingredients to ensure freshness and quality standards are maintained.

· Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu requirements and established standards.

· Operate and regulate ovens, grills and other cooking equipment to ensure food is cooked correctly.

· Season, portion, plate and present meals, including sauces, gravies and garnishes as required.

· Store food and ingredients appropriately in temperature-controlled facilities in accordance with food safety requirements.





· Prepare meals to meet special dietary requirements and customer needs.

· Assist with menu planning and estimating food and ingredient requirements if required.

· Assist with the training and supervision of junior kitchen staff and apprentices where required.

Skills:

· A minimum of one year of related work experience

- hands-on experience with various kitchen equipment
- excellent time management abilities
- up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes

Working Hours: 38 hours / per week Work experience: At least One years of experience

Education/Skills

Chef: Minimum Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or Hospitality

Salary: $-$79,500-$89,500 + Superannuation
