Location: Brisbane, QLD

Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per annum La Favolosa is an Italian restaurant located in West End, Brisbane, offering authentic Italian food, including handmade pasta and schiacciata, pizza, cannoli and Italian groceries.

The restaurant provides dine-in and online ordering options for customers looking for fresh, casual Italian dining. We are seeking a full-time Cook to join our kitchen team and support the preparation of consistent, high-quality Italian food in a busy restaurant environment.

Tasks and Responsibilities● Prepare and cook Italian menu items, in line with the restaurant’s recipes and presentation standards.

● Organise ingredients, portions, and preparation work before and during service to support effective kitchen operations.

● Check food quality, freshness, and presentation before dishes are served to customers.

● Operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic workstation.

● Follow food safety, hygiene, stock storage,



and workplace health and safety procedures.

● Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely and consistent food service.

Skills & Qualifications

● Relevant qualification in commercial cookery or equivalent industry experience.

● Previous experience working as a Cook in a commercial kitchen, restaurant or similar food service environment.

● Experience with Italian cuisine, pasta and pizza preparation will be highly regarded.

● Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen safety standards.

● Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods.
