Nova Legal is a specialist corporate law practice based in West Perth. Our Corporate & Commercial team comprises seven lawyers, including two Directors, two Senior Associates, an Associate and two solicitors.

The Role

Nova Legal is seeking a lawyer with approximately 1–4 years’ post-admission experience to join our Corporate & Commercial team.

You will be welcomed into a close-knit team and work directly with our Directors and senior lawyers on a variety of corporate and commercial transactions, including:

- Equity capital markets, including IPOs, RTOs and general capital raisings
- Mergers and acquisitions
- Private equity transactions
- Corporate governance
- General commercial transactions

This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer looking to develop their corporate and commercial experience within a specialist practice.



You will gain exposure to interesting and wide-ranging matters and have the opportunity to take increasing responsibility as your experience develops.

About You

We are looking for a commercially minded and motivated lawyer who is keen to develop their skills and take ownership of their work.

Ideally, you will have:

- An Australian law degree and admission as an Australian lawyer
- 1–4 years’ post-admission experience
- Experience in corporate and/or commercial law
- Strong drafting, research and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A willingness to learn and take ownership of matters
- A collaborative approach and genuine interest in being part of a close-knit team
