Indigeco is recruiting a Counterfeit Officer for our client, a highly regulated national financial institution. This is a 12-month contract based fully onsite in Craigieburn, VIC, working full-time across 37 hours per week.

This role will support a secure counterfeit banknote processing function. The day-to-day work involves opening mail containing suspected counterfeit banknotes, preparing packages for entry, entering details into internal databases and working closely with another colleague under dual control processes.

This role is ideal for someone with strong administration, data entry, records management or secure processing experience who enjoys accurate, detailed and process-driven work.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide administrative support to a specialised counterfeit banknote processing and examination function
- Receive, prepare, process and store suspected counterfeit banknotes in line with internal procedures
- Open and prepare mail packages containing secure material for database entry
- Enter accurate details into internal systems and maintain high-quality records
- Work under dual control arrangements with another colleague for key parts of the process




- Handle secure material and sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
- Support business administration activities, process improvements and system testing as required

YOUR REQUIREMENTS

- Strong data entry, administration, document processing or records management experience
- High attention to detail and ability to complete repetitive work accurately
- Experience working in a controlled, secure, regulated or confidential environment will be highly regarded
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to work closely with another person under dual control processes
- Ability to follow procedures, manage sensitive material and maintain confidentiality at all times
- Comfortable working full-time onsite in Craigieburn, with no work from home arrangement
- Ability to complete a National Police Check before commencement

YOUR PERKS
