I’m looking for a Cake & Content Studio Assistant to join me in my Brisbane studio 3 consecutive days per week, with the potential for the role to increase to 4–5 days in the future.

This is a hands-on role working alongside me on cake decorating, recipe development, testing and creating content for Ekats Club.

I’m looking for someone who loves baking and cake decorating, has a strong eye for detail and is genuinely excited about learning, experimenting and creating beautiful things.

Your background could be in pastry, baking or cake decorating — or you may have less professional experience but be naturally creative, capable in the kitchen and eager to learn.

The role will include

- ⁠Baking and testing recipes
- ⁠Preparing cakes, fillings and decorating components
- ⁠Assisting with cake decorating and new design concepts
- ⁠Helping prepare projects for filming and content creation
- ⁠Working independently on assigned recipes and studio tasks
- ⁠Keeping the studio organised and maintaining a clean working environment

You don’t need years of professional experience. What matters more to me is that you are reliable, practical, creative, detail-oriented and willing to learn. I particularly want someone who can work both collaboratively and independently. We’ll work together on many projects,



but you’ll also need to be comfortable continuing with tasks while I’m working separately.

This could suit an experienced pastry chef or cake decorator looking for a more creative role, or someone earlier in their career who wants the prospect to learn and develop their skills.

Schedule: Minimum 3 consecutive days per week, with potential to increase to 4–5 days
