Warlocks Gym – Leichhardt

Warlocks Gym – Leichhardt is looking for a warm, responsible and experienced Creche Supervisor to lead our on-site childcare space, giving parents total peace of mind while they train.

As Creche Supervisor, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day running of the creche — supervising and engaging children in a safe, structured and enjoyable environment, while also setting the standard for how the space runs. You'll be the senior point of accountability for safety, compliance and quality in the creche, and where the shift includes other Kids Club staff, you'll support and guide them too.

Key Responsibilities

Supervision & Safety

● Supervise children in a safe, attentive and hands-on manner

● Own the check-in and check-out process, including verifying parent/guardian collection

● Monitor behaviour and ensure respectful, safe interactions between children

● Ensure child-to-staff ratios are maintained at all times

● Lead the response to any incident, injury or emergency, and complete accurate incident reports

Team Leadership & Supervision

● Help coordinate rostering for peak periods in consultation with the Gym Manager

● Set the tone for a warm, professional and consistent creche experience across every shift

Engagement & Activities

● Plan and run age-appropriate games and activities

● Create a positive,



welcoming and inclusive setting for every child

● Keep children engaged in structured play appropriate to their age and needs

● Encourage respectful behaviour, sharing and teamwork

Cleanliness, Compliance & Supplies

● Maintain a clean, organised and hazard-free creche area

● Sanitise toys and equipment regularly, and ensure equipment is stored safely

● Keep compliance records (attendance, incidents, WWCC status of staff) accurate and up to date

● Flag stock, supply or maintenance needs to management before they become a problem

Communication

● Communicate clearly, warmly and professionally with parents, including on sensitive matters

● Escalate incidents, concerns or complaints to the Gym Manager promptly and accurately

● Maintain accurate attendance and handover records between shifts The Ideal Candidate

We are specifically looking for someone who is:

● Naturally warm, bubbly and upbeat

● Responsible, attentive and accountable

● Patient and calm under pressure, including in an emergency

● Confident leading and managing groups of children

● Comfortable stepping up as the senior person in the room

● Professional, reliable and comfortable working within policies and procedures





Previous experience in childcare, early education or youth programs is essential, and prior supervisory or team leadership experience is highly regarded.

A current Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required.

Current First Aid and CPR certification is required.

A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent is highly regarded but not essential.

Employment Details

● Part-Time (approx. 20 Hours per week)

● Casual (approx. 20 Hours per week)

● Must be available across staffed hours

● Weekend availability preferred

Staffed Hours:

Mon–Fri: 8:00am - 12:00pm & 3:00pm - 8:00pm

Sat: 8:00am - 12:00pm

Sun: CLOSED
