About the Role

Reporting to our Processing Superintendent, we are seeking an experienced Crew Trainer - Processing to coordinate training activities for the team – this includes ensuring adequate inductions and awareness of workplace rules and critical procedures.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity located at our Paulsens Project on an 8:6 roster ex Perth, Broome or Darwin.

Key responsibilities:

- Maintain a skills matrix for the processing team and continually monitor and coordinate training requirements of all operators to ensure skills requirements are met.
- Identify individual training needs and develop applicable training plans.
- Review and maintain a relevant and up to date induction and training program for all processing.
- Develop and maintain training and assessment tools ensuring training materials are in line with legislative requirements and company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate, facilitate, and support face-to-face area specific training and compliance and conduct relevant area orientations for all new personnel.
- Review in conjunction with HSE,



relevant company inductions to ensure currency and relevancy of material pertaining to Processing.
- Deliver classroom and field based on-the-job area specific training as required.
- Train and coach field-based personnel in the use of the Learning Management System (INX InTuition).
- Schedule and perform assessments to the required standards ensuring feedback is provided on assessments to the relevant Supervisor and /or Superintendent.
- Conduct verification of competencies for operating plant and equipment including relevant licensing obtainment (if required).

About You

- Demonstrated skills and knowledge in risk management, safety and environmental systems and legislative and statutory requirements, particularly the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 and Regulations (Mines) 2022.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessing
- Experience in dealing with external training providers, in particular the ability to communicate requirements for training content and negotiation of prices.
- Experience in the analysis and identification of individual and processing training needs.
- Understanding of Australian educational frameworks, including nationally accredited training programs.
- A certificate IV in Health and Safety and Commissioning experience would be advantageous
