About the role

Apex Building Products in Helensvale is seeking a motivated person to join our internal sales & customer service team.

Key responsibilities

- Responding promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, providing accurate information about products, pricing, availability, and order status
- Assisting customers with product selection, recommendations, and technical inquiries
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently in SAP
- Collaborate with the sales team to support sales initiatives, provide quotes and prepare sales orders
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, and communications in our CRM

About you

- 2 years of experience in customer service, sales support, or related roles
- Previous experience with sales of metal roofing, sheet metal or related products preferred, but not essential




- Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and resolving customer issues effectively
- Great attention to detail and ability to work well as part of a team
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills
- Robust computer skills, knowledge of SAP is a plus
