Data Centre Project Manager | 12 month contract | FULLY REMOTE, anywhere in Australia

I am working on a FULL REMOTE Data Centre Project Manager 12 month contract prospect, open to an expeirenced DC PM anywhere in Australia.

This opportunity sits on the deployment side for a global technology business, so you would be taking customer data centres through modernisation and landing new compute infrastructure in them, owning it from planning through to handover.

What you would be doing

- Run complex data centre installations from planning through to handover
- Work directly with customers, internal teams and delivery partners
- Get across the technical architecture at both a high and low level, and drive decisions on the right solution
- Develop and present technical solutions to customers
- Report and escalate issues quickly and to the right people




- Keep customers across project changes and releases
- Document technical and operational procedures clearly

What I am looking for

- 5+ years of experience in project delivery management
- Minimum 5 years providing field services and/or customer support for hardware and software products
- In-depth knowledge of data centre environments, servers and network equipment
- Experience leading global projects
- PMP certification
- BS/MS Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- AI and HPC experience is a bonus, not essential.
