? 800xA / DCS Control Systems Engineers – Australia

We are currently supporting a leading organisation with several exciting opportunities for experienced Control Systems / 800xA Engineers across Australia.

These are initial 12-month contractor engagements, with potential for extension and the prospect to transition into a permanent position for successful candidates.

Role Overview

Our client is seeking experienced Control Systems Contractors to support ongoing service and project engineering requirements across its Australian operations.

The role will focus on 800xA engineering, systems integration, migration projects and commissioning, with opportunities to support both site and offshore project work.

Key Responsibilities

- Support project engineering activities for control systems customers across Australia.
- Work on 800xA / DCS engineering, configuration and systems integration.
- Contribute to migration projects replacing obsolete AC 450 controllers with AC 800M controllers at power-station sites.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting and engineering solutions.
- Prepare and maintain engineering and project documentation.
- Work directly with customers and provide professional technical communication and support.
- Collaborate with project,



engineering and commissioning teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Support multiple customers and projects, with flexibility to travel when required, including occasional short-notice travel.
- Contribute to the delivery of major projects, currently including several projects valued at approximately AUD $5–6 million each.

Position Details ? Location: Perth / Brisbane, Australia

? Working Arrangement: Approximately 80% remote / 20% travel

? Start: ASAP

⏰ Hours: 40 hours per week

? Contract: Initial 12-month contractor engagement

? Potential: Extension and potential transition to permanent employment after 12 months, subject to performance and business requirements.
