Full Time, Permanent (Part time job share considered)

About the Role:

Echuca Regional Health is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to support the delivery of high-quality, safe, and patient-centred dental care.

You’ll play a vital role in assisting clinicians across all stages of treatment while contributing to improved oral health outcomes for our community.

Key responsibilities include:

· Provide chair-side assistance during dental procedures

· Prepare treatment rooms and support clinicians with instruments and materials

· Clean, sterilise instruments and maintain infection control standards

· Assist with dental x-rays and patient preparation

· Support reception and administrative tasks as required

· Maintain accurate patient records and filing systems

· Manage stock levels and ensure clinical areas are well equipped

Qualifications/experience required:

· Certificate III in Dental Assisting (or equivalent)

· Experience providing chair-side assistance

· Strong understanding of infection control and dental practices





· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work effectively in a team environment

· Basic computer skills and experience with dental software

· Ability to support reception and administrative duties
