Smile On | Trusted Smiles Hobart is looking for an exceptional Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our team.

We’re not interested in simply filling a position. We’re looking for someone who wants to become an significant part of a team that genuinely cares about the experience we create — for our patients, our colleagues and our community. This is a varied role combining chairside dental assisting with reception and patient coordination.

About the role

You’ll be involved in

· Chairside assisting and treatment room preparation

· Sterilisation and infection control

· Welcoming patients and managing appointments

· Answering phones and patient enquiries

· Supporting clinicians and the wider team

· Helping create an organised, positive and efficient practice environment

About you

We’re looking for someone who is:





· Cert III Qualified in Dental Assisting or has equivalent experience

· Friendly, confident and qualified

· Organised with strong attention to detail

· Reliable, proactive and team focused

· Calm under pressure and thrives in a demanding environment

· A natural communicator who genuinely enjoys helping people
