About the role

This is a varied front-desk position where no two days are the same. You will be responsible for providing a warm and professional experience for our patients while supporting the smooth running of our busy practice.

Key responsibilities

- Welcoming and assisting patients with a friendly, professional approach
- Managing a busy reception desk, phones, emails and patient enquiries
- Scheduling and coordinating appointments across 5 surgeries
- Managing recalls, confirmations and cancellations
- Processing payments, health fund claims and general administrative tasks
- Coordinating treatment plans and assisting with patient follow-up
- Liaising closely with dentists, dental assistants and the wider clinical team
- Maintaining accurate patient records and practice administration
- Helping ensure the practice runs efficiently throughout the day

About you

- Has previous dental reception experience
- Is comfortable working in a busy, high-volume practice
- Can multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills
- Is organised, reliable and takes pride in their work




- Has strong attention to detail
- Works well as part of a team
- Is confident with dental terminology, treatment plans and health fund processes
- Understands the importance of patient confidentiality and professionalism
