Smile On | Trusted Smiles is seeking an experienced and people-focused Dental Practice Manager to lead their Hobart team.

The state-of-the-art Hobart practice includes full operating theatre facilities and delivers a comprehensive range of dental services, including All-On-4® treatment.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and operations of the Hobart practice. Your focus will be on building a high-performing team, strengthening systems and communication, and ensuring the practice runs efficiently and consistently.

Additionally, this role will be responsible for the smooth co-ordination of theatre days including confident and timely communication with anaesthetists, clinicians and Nursing teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Lead, coach and develop clinical and administrative team members.

· Set clear expectations and support accountability and performance.

· Coordinate rostering, leave, workflows and clinical scheduling.

· Lead team meetings and manage daily operational priorities.

· Maintain a positive, professional and high-performing workplace culture.

· Implement operational improvements, systems and agreed business priorities.

· Monitor relevant KPIs and operational performance.

· Support compliance with infection control, WH&S; and dental regulations.

· Oversee billing, HICAPS and other key administrative processes.

ABOUT YOU





You will be a confident and capable leader who communicates clearly, remains calm under pressure and balances empathy with accountability.

Ideally, you will have:

· Experience leading a team within dental, healthcare or a similar service environment.

· Previous dental practice experience, particularly as a Practice Manager, Clinical Coordinator, DA Supervisor or experienced Dental Assistant.

· Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

· The ability to manage people, performance and competing priorities effectively.

· A genuine interest in developing people and improving practice systems.

· Solid digital capability and the ability to learn new systems quickly.

· Experience with CareStack would be highly regarded.
