Experienced Design and Sales Consultant

Onsite is seeking an experienced Design and Sales Consultant to join our Paddington showroom team. This key position will see the successful applicant work with design industry leaders, inspirational projects and unique products.

The Role and Ideal Candidate The successful candidate must be very experienced consulting with architects, designers and their clients to develop creative design solutions. The position requires an individual who becomes an integrated and trusted part of the design process.

As a boutique business, service is a major part of the Onsite experience. The role requires a person who has a positive 'can do' attitude, with the ability to be motivated as part of a team, but to also work autonomously.

Key Responsibilities

- Managing and maintaining close relationships with an existing portfolio of clients
- Developing recent relationships and opportunities




- Educating the clients on product, installation and ongoing care
- Provide outstanding service and support, managing projects from specification to completion
- Maintaining showroom displays, sampling and having a front of house presence
- Collaborative development of the Onsite Range
- Appointments both in the studio and in client office spaces

Skills and Experience

- Excellent ability to interpret a design brief, read plans, elevations and written documentation
- Superior design ability with an understanding of industry vocab and terminology
- Strong and diplomatic communication skills
- Solution focused with extraordinary attention to detail
- Computer proficient, with current knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and MYOB
- Hold a current New South Wales drivers licence
- Previous experience in tiles, ceramics or natural stone materials is preferred but flexibility will be considered for exceptional candidates

Salary A remuneration package comprising of salary, super and car allowance will be based on the experience and capability of the applicant.

Hours of operation are 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
