FULL-TIME DIPLOMA QUALIFIED EDUCATOR – CHILD CARE WORKER

As a Diploma Qualified Educator at Redlynch Daycare, you will work alongside the Lead Educator to support the delivery of developmentally appropriate programs for children aged six weeks to five years old. You will understand and implement the service's policies and procedures, work within the legislated requirements of the Education and Care Services Regulations and National Quality Standards, and always ensure children's safety and supervision. You will help keep the service clean and tidy, arrange play environments to provide opportunities for children's learning, and assist with preparing food, activities and environments at the start of care sessions and cleaning at the end of care sessions.

Key responsibilities

- Support the implementation of developmentally appropriate programs for children
- Work collaboratively alongside the Lead Educator and other educators within the room
- Ensure the safety and supervision of children at all times
- Assist in keeping the service clean and tidy and arrange play environments
- Assist in the preparation of food, activities and environments at the beginning of care sessions and cleaning at the end of care sessions
- Support the Coordinator and Lead Educators in meeting the National Quality Standards requirements
- Contribute to a positive and professional team environment
- Liaise with management committees as appropriate




- Assist the Coordinator with administrative tasks as required
- Perform any other duties as directed by the Coordinator or Lead Educator

About you

- Completed Diploma in Early Childhood Education is a must
- Blue Card
- First Aid and CPR
- AFP Police Check
- Sleep Safe Certificate
- Child Protection Certificate
- Driver's Licence or Proof of Age Card
- Availability: Monday to Thursday, between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm, working 7.5 hours per day
- Ability to assist with either opening or closing the Daycare as required
