Shape the future of client services at Queensland Treasury. As Director, Client Services, you will lead the strategic delivery and continuous improvement of ICT support, facilities and procurement functions, strengthening customer experience, service reliability and organisational resilience. This senior leadership chance combines enterprise-wide influence with responsibility for multidisciplinary teams, trusted stakeholder partnerships and practical innovation across essential corporate services.
Your new opportunity
Lead the services that help Queensland Treasury work effectively, securely and confidently. As Director, Client Services, you will set the direction for client-facing ICT, facilities and procurement functions, while improving the experience of the people who rely on them. Working as part of the Technology and Business Services senior leadership team, you will connect strategy with reliable delivery, build capable teams and strengthen services that support Treasury's priorities.
In This Role, You Will
- Set the strategic direction for Client Services and align priorities with departmental and whole-of-government objectives.
- Oversee secure, responsive and reliable ICT support, including incident management and service improvement.
- Improve customer experience through targeted service strategies, performance insights and a strong client focus.
- Guide facilities services covering accommodation, maintenance, workplace safety and business continuity.
- Provide strategic oversight of procurement, contracts, supplier performance and compliance obligations.
- Maintain effective governance, risk, quality and reporting arrangements to support informed executive decisions.
- Build trusted stakeholder relationships and provide authoritative advice that influences shared outcomes.
- Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams, manage resources responsibly and foster continuous improvement
What Experience You Will Bring
- Substantial leadership experience across complex, customer-facing service functions.
- Demonstrated ability to shape and deliver user-centred ICT strategies and services.
- Experience overseeing facilities operations in a complex organisational environment.
- Strong capability in procurement, contract management and supplier performance.
- Experience maintaining governance, risk and quality frameworks, supported by clear reporting to senior leaders.
- A record of leading multidisciplinary teams, building capability and guiding change in complex settings.
- Highly developed relationship skills, with the ability to collaborate, advise and influence across diverse stakeholder groups.
Experience managing significant issues and incidents to protect service continuity and stakeholder confidence. Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications needed for this role, relevant qualifications will be highly regarded.
