DISABILITY SUPPORT WORKER - Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Applicants Encouraged

RightCare Group is seeking an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Support Worker to meet Participants cultural support preferences and provide culturally appropriate care.

Key responsibilities

- Assist with personal care and daily routines
- Support community access and social participation
- Assist with meal preparation and household tasks
- Support participants to develop daily living skills
- Provide transport to appointments and activities
- Follow individual support plans and risk-management strategies
- Complete progress notes and incident reports
- Promote participant choice, dignity, safety and independence

Essential requirements:
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability or Community Services
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- National Police Clearance
- Working with Children Check, where required
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Valid Australian driver’s licence
- Reliable and insured vehicle
- Australian working rights
- Good communication and documentation skills




- Availability for flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends

Desirable:
- Previous NDIS or disability-support experience
- Manual handling and medication-assistance training
- Experience supporting participants with complex needs
- Behaviour-support or high-intensity support experience

Employment type: Full time/ Part-Time/Casual Location: Perth metropolitan area and Outer regions
