We have an exciting opportunity for a reliable Support Worker with a “can do” attitude to provide Personal Care and Domestic Support in a private home.

About you:

You are a mature minded, reliable individual with a positive personality, ideally with experience in disability and in supporting individuals within their home or in a similar setting.

You are flexible and can work in group workplace as part of a team.

You are trustworthy and have good work ethic and understand the importance of providing care with dignity and respect.

You are self-motivated, calm, and looking to make an invaluable positive impact on the lives of others.

About the Role:

You will be working closely with me in my own home and in the community, providing care and supports which include:

· Personal care- grooming, toileting including catheter and bowel care.

· Domestic assistance in daily living duties - meal preparation and shopping

· Manual handling- using ceiling hoist and standing frame.

· Medication and Skin management.





· Community participation and appointments

· Experience with SCI preferred but not essential

Shifts currently on offer include but are not limited to:

Day Shifts:

· x2 AM shifts during the week

Flexibility for additional support during holidays and trips away, including sleepovers.

Full training will be provided as required.

Essential

· Police Check compulsory

· You must have the right to live and work in Australia.

· Must have a driver's license

· Good communication (written and verbal)

· Local to Brunswick Heads preferrable.

Preferred Qualifications

· First Aid certificate

· Cert III Disability or Aged Care

· Manual Handling
