URGENT CASUAL DISABILITY SUPPORT WORKER – South GRANVILLE - NSW

Male client – wheelchair user

START TIME: 6:20–6:30 AM — MUST ARRIVE NO LATER THAN 6:30 AM

Approximately 1 hour per day, including weekends $44/hr weekdays | $50/hr Saturday | $55/hr Sunday

Immediate start. We are looking for a reliable, caring and experienced Disability Support Worker to provide daily personal care and support to a male client who uses a wheelchair in Granville.

This is a casual position with approximately 1-hour shifts each day, including weekends.

SIGNIFICANT START TIME: The shift starts between 6:20 am and 6:30 am every day. Applicants must be able to reliably arrive at the client's home by 6:30 am at the latest.

Please do not apply if you are unable to consistently meet this early start time. About the role: Support will include:

- Showering and personal hygiene
- Washing, dressing and grooming
- Toileting and continence support
- Assistance with transfers and mobility as required
- Skin and pressure-area care
- Wound care, where the worker has the appropriate training and competency
- Monitoring skin integrity and reporting any concerns
- Supporting the client's comfort, dignity and independence
- Following individual care instructions and maintaining appropriate documentation/handover

About you The ideal person will be:

- Experienced in disability support and personal care




- Comfortable providing intimate personal care to a male client
- Experienced in supporting wheelchair users
- Experienced or appropriately trained in wound and pressure care
- Extremely reliable and punctual
- Able to consistently start between 6:20–6:30 am
- Compassionate, respectful and person-centred
- Comfortable working independently
- Available to work 7 days a week, including weekends
- Professional and respectful of privacy and confidentiality

Relevant qualifications, checks and training must be held as required for the role. Workers must only perform tasks that are within their training, competency and scope of practice. Pay Monday–Friday: $44 per hour

Saturday: $50 per hour

Sunday: $55 per hour
