About the role The position will initially offer approximately 10–15 hours per week, making it ideal for someone looking for a second job or additional regular income. There is also potential for additional hours in the future for the right person. Typical shift times may include 8:00am – 2:00pm, 10:00am – 3:00pm, or other hours as required. Flexibility is important, as start and finish times can occasionally change depending on participant appointments, activities and individual support needs.

About you
- Outgoing, friendly and easy to communicate with
- Can naturally make participants feel comfortable and at ease
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Quick learner and able to adapt to different participants and situations
- Can take initiative while still following individual support plans and instructions
- Flexible with changes to shift times when required
- Patient,
respectful and non-judgemental
- Understands qualified boundaries and confidentiality
- Comfortable working independently
- Current Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current unrestricted Australian Driver Licence
- Reliable and insured vehicle
- Comprehensive or appropriate vehicle insurance for work-related use
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Ability to provide relevant employment checks and references
- Australian working rights
