About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Dispatch Storeperson with Reach Forklift experience to join a well-established national supplier of restaurant and industrial equipment in Mulgrave. This role is approximately 75% warehouse, picking and dispatch duties and 25% forklift operation.

You will spend the majority of your day picking customer orders, packing, dispatching freight, receipting stock, unloading containers, preparing paperwork and keeping the warehouse running efficiently.

Location: Mulgrave, Melbourne VIC

Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time

Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 4:30pm

Pay: $36.40 per hour, with a scheduled increase after 6 months

You'll be working in a busy warehouse handling a wide range of products, including: Industrial kitchen equipment, Commercial appliances, Whitegoods, Crates and boxed goods, Spare parts and Large and awkward industrial products

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being active, working as part of a team and taking pride in getting orders out accurately and on time.

What You'll Be Doing

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders and spare parts
- Preparing orders for freight and customer collection
- Booking freight and organising transport pick-ups
- Creating connotes, manifests and purchase orders
- Receipting incoming goods and processing system transactions
- Unloading containers and replenishing warehouse stock
- Loading and unloading trucks with large or awkward products
- Operating a Reach Forklift to move and position stock
- Assisting with stocktakes and investigating stock discrepancies
- Picking stock from racking and working at heights
- Keeping the warehouse clean, safe and organised
- Supporting showroom stock movements when required




- Operating a Mobile Vertical Manlift – full training will be provided
- Assisting across different areas of the warehouse as required

What We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced Storeperson/Dispatch professional, ideally with a background in the distribution of industrial equipment, commercial appliances, whitegoods, large goods or similar products.

You'll need

- Current Reach Forklift license – MUST HAVE
- Minimum 3 years' warehouse/distribution experience
- Minimum 3 years' forklift experience
- Solid experience in picking, packing and dispatch
- Experience loading and unloading trucks or containers
- A valid Victorian driver's licence or Australian equivalent
- Confidence using computers and warehouse systems
- Positive attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to safely pick stock from heights
- Ability to handle large, bulky or awkward products
- Strong communication skills and a reliable work ethic
- Ability to work as part of a team and assist across different warehouse duties
