Woodgate Beach Club is looking for an enthusiastic and capable Duty Manager to join our team. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy hospitality environment, leads from the front and takes pride in delivering exceptional service.

The Chance

As Duty Manager, you will take responsibility for the smooth day-to-day operation of the Venue. You will support the team, coordinate service across different areas and ensure our customers enjoy a welcoming, safe and memorable experience every time they visit.

Your responsibilities will include

- Leading, engaging and supporting employees throughout each shift
- Overseeing daily operations and maintaining smooth, efficient service
- Coordinating staffing requirements and ensuring shifts are appropriately covered
- Setting clear expectations and maintaining high service standards
- Responding professionally to customer feedback and resolving issues promptly
- Supporting employees with coaching, guidance and on-the-job development
- Ensuring compliance with responsible service, licensing, workplace health and safety, and other regulatory requirements
- Assisting with opening, closing, cash-handling and operational procedures
- Working collaboratively with the management team to improve the Venue’s operations and customer experience

About You





You are an approachable and dependable leader who remains calm under pressure and is comfortable making decisions. You enjoy being part of the action, supporting your team and creating an environment where both employees and customers feel welcome. To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Previous supervisory or management experience, preferably within hospitality, gaming or venue operations
- Strong leadership and team-management capabilities
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Sound judgement and a practical approach to solving problems
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A strong understanding of compliance and responsible service obligations
- A genuine commitment to teamwork and creating a positive workplace culture
- Availability to work flexibly across a seven-day roster due to the operational requirements of the role
- Current RSA, RSG, RMLV and Approved Manager Licence qualifications
