About the Role Working collaboratively within our 59-place licensed long day care and preschool facility, you will:
- Deliver high-quality educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Observe, document, and assess children’s learning and development (aged 0–5 years).
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where every child feels supported to thrive.
- Foster authentic partnerships with families, staff, and the broader community.
About Us Gidgillys Early Education and Care Centre is a small close knit 59 place centre located in Jindabyne NSW. Operated by Snowy Mountains Grammar School,
the centre is a licensed long day care centre and preschool offering high quality education and care services to the Jindabyne community.
Essential Criteria
- ACECQA-approved Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or current approved study toward qualification).
- Current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance.
- Current ACECQA-approved First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management certifications.
- Completed (or willingness to complete) mandatory National Child Safety Training
- Demonstrated knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and EYLF.
- Current Child Protection training, including a recognised course code for 'Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk'.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proof of valid rights to work in Australia.
