Qualified Early Childhood Educator / In-Home Carer

LONG-TERM POSITION | $45/hour | Up to 50 hours/week | 5 days available

I’m looking for a warm, loving and genuinely caring Early Childhood Educator to become part of our family and provide ongoing care for two children in our home.

This is a long-term position for someone looking for consistent, reliable work and who would love the opportunity to build a genuine relationship with the children as they grow.

This is not a traditional childcare centre environment. The children are cared for at home, with a focus on creating a secure, nurturing and stimulating environment where they can play, learn, explore and feel secure.

I’m looking for someone who is patient, affectionate, proactive and confident with young children and who genuinely enjoys being around them.

The right person will be
- A qualified Early Childhood Educator — Cert III or Diploma




- Experienced with young children
- Warm, affectionate and patient
- Calm and confident when managing challenging behaviour
- Proactive and energetic
- Someone who genuinely enjoys playing and engaging with children
- Reliable, responsible and organised
- Comfortable working independently
- Respectful of our home and mindful with household resources
- Available consistently long-term
- Comfortable with occasional weekends or after-hours care

Most importantly… We are looking for someone who sees caring for children as more than simply supervising them.

Someone who will get down on the floor and play, notice when a child needs comfort, encourage their development, set loving boundaries and genuinely care about how their day is going.
