EDUCATOR — PERMANENT PART TIME

10am–2pm | Monday to Friday

We are seeking a committed and motivated Educator to join our team at Elouera Children’s Centre Eastgardens. This rare opportunity role is ideal for someone needing flexibility in their working week.

We are looking for an Educator who understands the importance of the early years in child development. We provide high‑quality practice, and a Reggio‑inspired learning environment where curiosity, connection and child safety guide everything that we do.

JOIN OUR TEAM

Build meaningful relationships with children, families and the Team of educators while contributing to a high‑quality educational program guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and our service philosophy. Our role is to deliver the best outcomes for families and children.

YOUR ROLE

As an Educator, you will:

- Support the Lead Educator in planning, implementing and evaluating a play‑based learning program
- Assist with the smooth running of the room in line with relevant regulations, policies and procedures.
- Contribute to observations, documentation and assessment of children’s learning with accountability of focus children.
- Promote inclusive practice and honour diversity
- Ensure children’s health, safety and wellbeing at all times
- Uphold active supervision
- Work collaboratively and professionally within a supportive team culture
- Uphold child protection, child safety and regulatory compliance requirements

REQUIREMENTS

- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management
- Valid Working With Children Check
- Child Protection Training
- Knowledge of the National Law, Regulations and NQS
