Full-Time Position | Founding Team | Brand New Service

Fast and Curious Early Learning Centre Kanahooka is a brand-new 66-place service preparing to open its doors, and we are looking for a passionate, inspiring and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to lead our Preschool Room.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our founding team and help establish a high-quality learning environment and positive culture from the very beginning.

About the Role

As the Preschool Room Leader / Early Childhood Teacher, you will:

- Lead the development and implementation of a high-quality preschool program aligned with the EYLF V2.0
- Create engaging, intentional and child-led learning experiences
- Support children’s individual learning pathways and school readiness
- Guide and mentor educators within the room
- Develop meaningful relationships with children, families and the wider community
- Complete meaningful observations, assessments and learning documentation
- Create an inclusive, safe and stimulating learning environment
- Contribute to the service QIP and continuous improvement




- Work collaboratively with the Educational Leader and leadership team to establish strong practices from the outset

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- An ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching qualification (Graduate Diplomas are not suitable)
- Current NSW Teacher Accreditation (or eligibility to obtain)
- Sound knowledge of the EYLF V2.0, NQS and child development
- Experience leading or contributing to a high-quality program
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for children’s learning, development and wellbeing
- A strong commitment to child safety, inclusion and respectful practice
- Current NSW Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
